Student organizers of Fill The Dome are proud to announce their results from this year’s food drive.

Fill The Dome 2011 has successfully raised 160,021 lbs, or 80 tons of food, and approximately $80,000 to go towards local hunger relief. This equals 443,093 meals, which, while under the goal, does stress how many people are impacted by the project.

Another Fill The Dome in the books! Thanks Fargo-Moorhead ]]>Thanks to everyone in Fargo-Moorhead and the surrounding community for making Fill The Dome 2011 yet another success! We couldn't have done it with out you!

All the food has been boxed up, however it is still being loaded out the Fargodome and being weighed at the Great Plains Food Bank... as well as money count being tabulated. We will publish our results (as well as distribute those to all the media outlets) as soon as they become available... we anticipate that being sometime this afternoon.
